Seven Postcards from Seven Continents!

Have you ever had the chance to see a postcard from each of the seven continents?

…If not, that will no longer be the case after today! Over the past month and a half, I have been putting together this post in collaboration with some amazing travel bloggers from around the world, and I am super excited to finally share it with you all.

As many of my friends know, one of my typical ‘travel traditions’ is that whenever I visit a new country I always buy & send a postcard. Even though it is no longer common to send letters to friends through the mail anymore, I still enjoy sending postcards whenever I have the chance. I think it is a great way to share travel memories while also brightening someones’ morning when they first check to see what has arrived in their mailbox. ☺️

As always, thank you very much for visiting my blog, and I hope you will enjoy this post!

You should do a segment of this, I would love to see more postcards and more features of bloggers from around the world world.

  7. This is really cool to see! Thank you for such a fun read! 🙂

  8. Such a cool collaboration! I love the themed pictures as well, very creative. Great Idea 🙂

I love everything about this post!! I love sending postcards and receiving them even though I don’t feel like it’s as common as it once was!

  10. This post is just amazing I love it!! Especially the Canada post since I am a Canuck myself..! This is such a great idea!!

  11. Rimsha

Wow, I love this post! What a great idea to collect these postcard photos from each continent around the world. Really enjoyed looking at all the photos and learning about so many new blogs 🙂

  12. I collect postcards, it feels so authentic to hold one in your hands. Snail mail should never die ! ❤

  13. This is such a cute post. I love the way all of the postcards are laid out with their passports and other little things from that place. I’ve just got one more continent to cover and I’ll have visited all 7. Wish I’d kept postcards from them all!

  14. I loved this! It’s always fun discovering new blogs and lifestyles that incorporate the whole travel blogging life. Definitely found a couple new places to follow and folks to learn from, and saw some face I already recognize.
(And I am so with you on the postcards. I love getting and sending them too!)

  15. That’s a really cool post idea ! As pretty much everyone here I love postcards ! 😀

  16. findyourworldgirl

This is so cute, I love all of the different cards! Glad to see another Edmonton girl in the travel blog world 🙂

  17. I never send postcards anymore. I did when I first started travelling and then it got too much hassle finding a post office!! I haven’t of any of these bloggers, I will have to have a look at their websites 🙂

  18. I loved seeing all the different passports! Whenever I’m at the airport, I always try to catch a glance at the passports that people around me are holding. Now, maybe I’ll recognize some more passports next time I’m waiting around at the airport! 🙂

I loved the idea behind this post, such a cool thing to get to see from all over the world! I personally love to pick up postcards while I travel, although I’ve never actually sent one. Loved the Antarctica one, that’s one of my dream destinations!

  20. Such a cool, collaborative idea for a post! I love this so much 🙂 Thanks for sharing!

  21. What a really innovative idea, I’ve really wanted to do Antarctica!

  22. Postcards are a great way to remember destinations – I used to collect them and bring them home for myself but now I try & send to my parents so they keep it for when I come back home! I only have postcards from 4 continents though, there is still plenty more to add to my collection!

  23. thesanetravel

It is a great post idea and great postcards. Antarctica seems the most exotic to me. Thanks for sharing!

  24. Oh I just love postcards – both receiving and sending them! I’m always fascinated by how we take hundreds of photos when visiting but just one particular postcard can say so much about a destination.

  25. I love the themed pictures as well, very creative. Great Idea. I used to collect postcards, this inspired me to perhaps start again.

  26. Absolutely stunning. Its like every travelers dream to be able to visit all the 7 continents. This post is so inspiring!!!

  27. onlybyland

These are great collections of postcards and souvenirs from each continent. I actually sent a postcard to my Mum from Ushuaia, Argentina and arrived back home before the postcard did! My favourite postcard from the list is the Belgian one because of the chocolate, I really love chocolate.

  28. natalietanner

What a fun post! I love post cards and have the kids send them to all their friends. Everyone loves to get mail and the photos on postcards are always so very beautiful. I saw recently a great idea on sending yourself postcards and then putting them together like a little book. I’m going to start that with the next trip!

  29. What an excellent post! Love these collages. This made me realize that I still have to visit Africa and Antarctica. Happy travels!

  30. ljlegend

I love this idea, as it introduces us to other travel bloggers and the postcards are so cute.

  31. Those postcards are so pretty. And I really like the idea of one being from each of the continents. Each of the continents are so diverse and beautiful, and these postcards are bringing all their beauty together

  32. saraessop

This is a great idea for a collab post. Thank you for featuring my postcard from Africa. I’ve been to four of these continents but still have three to go.

  33. This is such an amazing collaboration. I love the idea of sending postcards to near and dear ones. I love the Antarctica and Capetown postcards 🙂

  34. kad8585

What a great idea. I loved seeing all the postcards from all the continents. My favorite was the postcard from Antarctica. So cool.

  35. This is a super creative idea! Not a lot of people still send good ol’ snail mail from travels nowadays, so I love that you’ve written a post celebrating such a thing! (and I love that you always send a postcard from each and every country you visit)! I’m familiar with a few of the bloggers you’ve highlighted in this list and will be checking out the others. All of the photos of the postcards look lovely, and I especially love the decorations on the front cover of Drina’s travel journal. It’s so pretty ❤

  36. wanderingchocobo

What a great collaboration! I love post cards. I recently got one from a friend traveling and it just totally made my day. I think this inspired me to get into the mode of sending post cards to my friends and family as I travel. They did a great job with the fun themed layouts. Thanks for sharing!

  37. gtcookbook

This has got to be one of the coolest collabs I’ve ever seen! I’m sad to say that I haven’t been in the habit of sending postcards for a number of years… probably because instagram posts are so much easier (I hate hate hate how that sounds!). This is inspiring though, and I’d like to do something like this 🙂 Thanks for the idea!

  38. What a fantastic idea for a post! I bet it was no easy feat finding someone to contribute to Antarctica! What a cool (pun intended!) place for them to go on honeymoon. I still have two continents to go to complete my list; South America and Antarctica. I hope to get to both one day 🙂

  39. What a fun idea and a great way to preserve your travel memories. I would love to visit all 7 continents. But if not, just getting a postcard would be the next best thing!

  40. Awesome idea for the post and inspiration for further travels! I am glad to see there are many others who still buy (and send, hopefully) postcards like we do. Also, Drina’s travel journal is so beautiful!

  41. Wow, thaymt is so cool. WhatI a collection. Sending post cards is something that is quickly disappearing. Now I simply send emails and do FB-posts. It is a bit sad actually. Receiving a post card is much more fun
