England Europe France

Back to Paris and London !!

About a week ago, I went to Paris (for the 2nd time) & London (for the 4th time!) It was a short, but amazing couple of days- and I am so happy that I got to experience part of it with two of my great friends, Jan and Lais. After Paris, I flew solo to London for one day & night, where I then headed off to visit Poland, which I will write about in my next blog post. 🙂

We only had one day to spend in Paris… because we arrived at 6:45am and had an overnight bus at 11:00pm, so we tried to do as much exploring as possible! Of course the first thing we did was go straight to the Eiffel Tower, where we bought elevator tickets that took us right up to the top, and the view was so awesome (this year, the EuroCup Football Championship is being held in Paris, and below the Eiffel Tower we got a nice view of the fan zone area.)

Other highlights of our day included going to the beautiful Monmartre District, having dinner at the Hard Rock Café, going sightseeing at the Arc de Triomphe, the Louvre museum, Notre Dame Cathedral, and also sharing a french baguette, Nutella crêpes, Macarons, and we also went souvenir shopping 😀 I would definitely rate this day a 10/10!

The next evening after flying into London, I was feeling quite exhausted from all of the travelling, so it felt really nice getting to rest at the hotel (located 5 mins from the airport terminal), where I got to have a relaxing and warm bubble bath. In the morning, the hotel served a really delicious breakfast buffet, which was nice because I didn’t want to spend so much money on food in London because it’s quite expensive there– so I ate as much as I could so I wouldn’t be so hungry later in the day 😀 .. When I finally reached the city, the shuttle dropped me off at Waterloo Station- which is right next to the London Eye! I then walked along the River Thames and took photos of Big Ben, and made my way towards Trafalgar Square, Picadilly Circus, and finally, Buckingham Palace!

The day went by pretty fast, because I think I only had about 3.5-4 hours total in the city, and before I knew it, it was already time to go back to the airport catch my evening flight to Poland! Below are a few more pictures that I took during the day. 🙂

Thanks so much for reading!

Jackie 🙂

I love your blog! And your pictures are A-mazing… I’m so glad you take the time to share with the world what you do and where you go. I’m fixing to leave for Europe (3rd time) again and have struggled a bit with blogging, instagram, etc. But you’re such an inspiration, and I look forward to reading more of your posts! Keep it up!

    • Thanks so much for your comment and checking out my blog! I haven’t posted in quite a while though as I haven’t been travelling too much lately, but I’m looking forward to be going to Asia in the Spring! & possibly to the States in March 🙂 That is exciting about your Europe trip, what parts are you planning to see? And I will definitely check out your blog! If I can offer you any advice, I would tell you to definitely take lots of pictures and write down all the stories of your adventures…. because then you will always have them to look back on (which is why I made this blog for myself initially haha) 🙂 ❤

Thanks so much, and you’re welcome! you know, I do at least keep a journal so maybe that’s why I find it difficult to write more ..on a blog xD .. so much writing, oh well. Wow, Asia! – definitely write about it! where will you go? Do you have a youtube channel as well? I plan to actually stay in Switzerland 3 months, with the same fam I visited almost 3 years ago… I’m so behind on blogging/vlogging tho >_<
But it gets me excited to record/post/write when I find other young people like myself doing the same things! ❤ It's so wonderful… Again, thank you!

      • Sorry, I’m not sure how I missed your reply! Anyways, when I go to Asia, I will mainly be in Hong Kong for a 6 week internship 🙂 I’m hoping to also do some travelling on my days off too! I hope you enjoy Switzerland! 😀
