Hello everyone, today I would like to share a post about my visit to Czech Republic, where I had the opportunity to spend the last 3 days of my trip in the bohemian district of Prague!)
Throughout the duration of our stay, we made sure to make the most of our time there, and despite our lack of sleep when we arrived, we did our best to see and do as much as humanly possible! :p
On the first night we went on a river cruise, and the next morning we went on two consecutive walking tours of the city centre and the Prague Castle on the other side of the river… Which lasted for about 6 hours total ! Later on we had a delicious meal at the Hard Rock Café, and decided to call it a day after that… But as we were on our way to look for a taxi, we noticed a strange looking man wearing all black carrying a lantern with a walking stick, and we found out that he was actually the tour guide for a ghost tour…. And we spontaneously decided to join! Definitely spooky for sure, but it was really unique and totally worth it…. So all together on the second day we went on 3 different walking tours! 😛

On the last day after we checked out of our apartment we went to the Madame Tussaud’s Wax museum, went postcard and souvenir shopping, walked across the medieval St. Charles bridge, and strolled through the old city to check out the John Lennon wall. After that, we realized that we still hadn’t tried Czech Beer, (which is something the CZR is known for) so we decided to go to the John Lennon Pub, which was conveniently located right across from the wall!
Finally, at about 7pm we watched a Czech Opera show at the historic National Theatre House!! (This was also my very first opera, so it was quite an exciting experience!) The show ended just after 10pm, which was perfect timing because our bus from Prague was leaving at 11pm. 🙂 So yeah… after all of that, this trip is going to be pretty tough to beat! I’m just so happy with how everything turned out, and for everything we had the opportunity to do and see! I honestly feel so lucky to be in the position I am in right now, and everyday I have to remind myself that all of this is actually real life !! Of course I am really looking forward to returning to Canada in June, but for now I am focusing on making the most of my last few weeks in Europe…. ❤
